Edrei :

There are people willing to change the wrong to right. It's true that every little bit counts and this also applies the other way round.

I have thought of doing the blogathon too but I have classes that day and can't do it every hour =/

Bell :

Hahaha yeah!! I was thinking it sounded wrong so thanks Bell! The cycle of life is sadly being taken for granted as humans are being more and more obnoxious thinking that it'll sort itself out. And again I say, every little bit from those aware helps.

PS : I also cannot live without my computer!

Criz :

We can do our part today and make a difference to stop the world from being destroyed. Instead of using petroleum, switch to solar; instead of air conditioning, use the fan; instead of littering, use a garbage bin; instead of driving, use your legs to walk or switch to public transports.

I didn't say don't teach the now generation to start, in fact, I encourage it! When the time is upon us, regret is no longer an issue, actions speak louder than words in this case.

Mother Nature has its limits to the abusive actions of human kind and is revenging with rage. How long more can she have the patience to tolerate the greed of human kind? Humans are takers and not givers. Most her resources have been drained. Even the ozone layers have been thinned. Heatwave struck those places with lots of rain and vice versa. Who is to be blamed but humans themselves.

Having the awareness amongst the new generation is a good idea but what about the present generation? They still have the ignorance of protecting the world they are leaving in.

Haze problem never stop? How could they let the atmosphere become so tarnished with smog? Clogged rivers with chemical and rubbish. Illegal timbering, etc. Don't you think Mother Nature is planning to wipe out the whole human race to be reborn again? Humans better think wisely now on the consequences of their actions before it's too late.

I think you meant OPPOSABLE Thumbs dear, not DISPOSABLE... hehe.

It's a sad and indisputable that humans have been harming the environment for centuries. Too late to reverse what has been done. I saw an ad sometime any yrs ago once, asking about the meaning of life. Plants live to clear the air and serve as sustenance for herbivores. Those animals in turn crap and make the soil fertile for more plants while becoming food to some carnivores. Humans... All we've done is damage. But being the most intelligent beings on earth, we have a CHOICE. Humans are the only ones who can CHOOSE to keep damaging our home or to save it. Yes we keep making all the wrong choices... more machines... more air conditioning... more computers... more gadgets... more more more.

I know for a fact that I've become totally dependent on my computer... and I'm not sure how to live without a fridge. I don't own a car, I can walk most places. I can choose to read instead of watch TV... but when you get down to the nitty gritty... Machines print those books!

There's no end to it is there? We each do our "little" bit to help the world, but there's no reversing the damage done. All we can do now is help slow it down.

There is an old saying. Our children don't inherit the world from us, we only borrow the world from them.

At the end of it, just as much as there are things wrong with this world, there are also people in this world willing to make those wrong, right again.

That's why there are things called Blogathon and this year I'll be joining that again to make a different for what I believe in.
