Relationships just aren’t what they used to be…
Posted on October 24, 2007
Sometimes I wonder what’s going on with the world these days.
We were all given a chance to experience a life and a clean slate since birth. But many people choose to pollute it with selfishness, greed, crimes, and petty actions. Why I ask.
But no, I’m not going to go into that. Because there’s just too much to be said on that. What I DO want to say is, are relationships just a thing for some people to play with?
A friend just got her heart broken recently just for placing hope for a guy who resembles a kutu (tick). He preys on innocent girls, making them think he’s all great and the next moment, break their hearts.
I’m going to go on a limb here to say that he’s taken advantage of this friend of mine for less than 2 months before using a petty excuse of how “my mom force me to break up with my GF till I pull up my grades”. The next day, both of them came with a cloud above their head.
The girl, worried about their relationship.
The guy, moody because his car window broke.
Typical isn’t it? To be more worried about your car. More than the girl you supposedly love. And ironically, before he dated her, he broke up with another girl, chased my other friend, couldn’t get her and jumped at the nearest girl.
Thinking that they still have hope, she placed all her hopes into him getting better results this semester. Again, he crushed her hopes with just a few words. This time however, he broke her spirit.
He told her, it’s over and they’ll be friends…forever. And soon, he was seen playing with another girl by a guy friend.
She couldn’t understand why this has to happen and has since locked herself away in her room, isolated, devastated, heart-broken, crushed, tired, crying endlessly.
Why this has to happen, she probably knows but doesn’t want to see. But we, the bystanders DO see. He’s a jerk. He’s a scum. He’s a worm. He’s worse than a worm. He’s a virus that shouldn’t have graced the earth in the first place. I pity his mother…for I fear she will never have a long-term daughter-in-law, EVER!
If you’re reading this, know that we are worried about you and that you shouldn’t waste your feelings all on him. Come back. If you don’t snap out of it soon, I guess I’ll have to take things into my hands and slap you awake.
Take care and be prepared ![]()

Just how messy IS your garage?
Posted on October 23, 2007
What does your garage look like to you and other people?
Is you’re garage neat and clean? Is everything where you want them to be? Or is your garage one of the many garages that are just piled with junk as far as the eye can see? If that’s the case, do you have a way to organize them junks?
I know better than most how difficult it is to organize a messy room, let alone a garage! Imagine the junk just piling up in there and one day, you go in to try and find a shovel, and you see something moving!!
You try to find the cause. And when you do, what do you see? A family of rats!! EWW!! Now, we don’t ever want that do we?! Of course we don’t. So what do we do? We try to clean out the garage of course. But how, you ask?
By organizing it all with garage cabinets. With the cabinets provided by Car Guy Garage, your garage will no longer be just a place to throw all your junk! It will also be one of the places you can keep your mechanical tools, your car spare parts, your kids’ toys, your husband’s golf sets, your wife’s shopping items and so on!
Heard enough? Then why are you still here reading? Go get your own garage cabinets before the mess gets out of hand!

“Where are you?!”
Posted on October 22, 2007
Is what everybody have been asking me the past few weeks.
And all I can say to them is : “I was busy building my empire in Neopets.”
Indeed. I am and have always been a Neopets addict. There is no shame in admitting my weakness
in fact, it’s no shame in admitting YOU play as well. Don’t you?
Wait. Are you laughing? Are you implying that this game is just “too childish“? Well, excuse me, if I like to play it. But it is NOT a childish game. It’s a virtual game where people from all around the world and of all ages play and to relieve stress. Not only that, to make friends as well.
I for a fact, know that there are many adults playing Neopets. And many of them are married and have kids of their own. It’s a game like any other games that everybody else plays. It’s comparable to Gaia, Marapets, or any other virtual games.
So now that you know where I have been, I would not condone any ignorance on how I “never told me what and where you have been” and also you have no excuse to say that you “thought you had fallen from the face of the earth!”
If you happen to want to play Neopets too, please consider registering using the link below to help my referral program. I stand to get rewarded for referring other future Neopets players.
http://www.neopets.com/refer.phtml?username=nekoaphrojessica
If you have joined, why don’t you comment or contact me using the contact form and then we can all talk Neopets
Another reason why I’m explaining this here and now is because after only a few blog posts a month, people are wondering, if I have started to get bored with blogging. The answer to that, my readers, is no. I am not bored with it, not yet anyways.
I am just side-tracked at the moment. What with just going back to university after 3 weeks of break and Neopets, I really didn’t have the time to come here to blog. Besides, with my current hobby now, I doubt you would like to hear me blabbing about Neopets every single day right? Right
But I have since put my priorities straight and will be well on my way back to blogging as always again ^^ till then, take care.

Dehydrated!!
Posted on October 19, 2007
I am so completely dehydrated.
Played hooky today not for fun. No, not at all.
I drank, and drank, and drank.
But my body wouldn’t let me keep it in.
No matter how much water goes into me, it’ll all come out again within the next minute.
I am so completely dehydrated that I feel faint and everywhere I look, the place seems to be distorted and spinning.
I can’t take it anymore! I’m so THIRSTY!!! For the past hour, I have went to the toilet for almost 30 times. It’s just a hellish experience
I’m so dehydrated. I’m so thirsty. I want water. I need water. Water…
WATER…

I would not be the sun to end your night
Posted on October 8, 2007
I would not be the sun to end your night,
Nor would I be the wall to turn your tears.
But I will watch with you until it’s light.
Because there are no words to set things right
Nor hopes that one immersed in mourning hears,
I would not be the sun to end your night,
Offering a wisdom far too bright
To soothe your pain or put to rest your fears.
But I will watch with you until it’s light.
There must be time to grieve that sorrow might
Be equal to the love of days and years.
I would not be the sun to end your night.
For grief, before it breaks, must reach its height,
And tides must turn before one homeward steers.
But I will watch with you until it’s light.
There are agonies no friendship can requite,
A bitterness unstained till dawn appears.
I would not be the sun to end your night.
But I will watch with you until it’s light.
Poetry by : Nicholas Gordon
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
This poetry perfectly describes a friendship that has gone through many hardships such as mine. Trial and errors are a must to help strengthen the bonds of friendship. Without these trial and errors, a friendship can never be for it would be as if a whole cucumber sitting beside a whole carrot, each an individual of it’s own.
With trial and error, both the cucumber and the carrot, finely chopped, mixed together would bring about a whole new enhancement. Just like friendship, you’d need to go through some hardships together to know each other better and this would help strengthen the bond already formed.
I hope you are reading this and understand how I feel about us. We’ve hit a rough spot and I don’t want that to ruin our friendship for your friendship is what I cherish most. I love you, my friend ![]()

Jess’s Desktop Free View
Posted on October 1, 2007
Yee, I got tagged again, personally, I love tags, however, the part where I have to tag someone else is rather irritating especially if you don’t have many blogger friends =3=, and that would obviously mean me. I know I have many links in my blogroll but, really, how many of them do I really know well enough to tag?
Well, I’ll think of that later, now however, is time to reveal my desktop!
Purple Moon
And that, boys and girls, ladies and gentleman, is how my desktop looks at the moment. Isn’t it a lovely shade of purple? And yes, I have this obsession with purple for quite a LONG while now, tee hee hee…I occasionally change my desktop picture to a different one whenever the sight of my current one is causing me to feel a little disgusted or nauseous. I know, weird right? Well, weird is good cause that enhances my eccentric-ness.
So now that I’ve done my part, what was it that I was suppose to do again…? Oh right! I’d have to now tag like, 5 other people to do this tag. So okay, here goes! Erm…erm…erm…erm… -Sobs- …I have no one to tag! T_______T!!! Isn’t that truly sad?! Yeah, I think so too
!!!
Taggees : Guang, KucingMafia
Well, I’ll just scout around and tag someone when I find them, until then, my taggees are at the moment, two.
[TAG STARTS HERE]
My Desktop Free View Instruction:
- Upon receiving this tag, immediately perform a screen capture of your desktop. It is best that no icons be deleted before the screen capture so as to add to the element of fun.
- You can do a screen capture by:
- Going to your desktop and pressing the Print Scrn key (located on the right side of the F12 key).
- Open a graphics program (like Picture Manager, Paint, or Photoshop) and do a Paste (CTRL + V).
- If you wish, you can “edit” the image, before saving it.
- Post the picture in your blog. You can also give a short explanation on the look of your desktop just below it if you want. You can explain why you preferred such look or why is it full of icons. Things like that.
- Tag five of your friends and ask them to give you a Free View of their desktop as well.
- Add your name to this list of Free Viewers with a link pointing directly to your Desktop Free View post to promote it to succeeding participants.
- List of those who participated in the tag and place your link below:

Heads Up On The Absent Blogger
Posted on September 30, 2007
So ok, September isn’t what I would call, a walk in the park. But who doesn’t have those days, yeah? Anyways, what’s there to say really, this month was nothing but a pain in the ass.
Hmm let’s see now, this month was the month of hellish turds exams, had my finals and passed all of them, apparently, except for a D in Research (always hated that subject). But I’m glad that’s over with. Even had my hair cut to looking like erm…a Pomelo, or a Pomegranate, so insisted Bell. But I’ve got to say, it’s truly convenient to have short hair >_^V
About 9 days ago, my dad went off to Europe, going to Monte Carlo, Italy, Nice and so many other places while the whole family is left behind
Can’t blame the poor guy really, he went there on business -sighs-. While he was there, we (the ones left behind) celebrated my brother’s 19th birthday on the 25th, this day also coincides with Joanne and Mark’s 1-month anniversary of “dating”. I can’t say that I’m enthusiastic about their being together, but hey, that isn’t my business if they get together or not, right? I’m just a bystander after all. I would love to elaborate more on this relationship, but I would refrain from doing so or risk the wrath of a woman-in-love.
So anyways, while my dad was working-enjoying life in Europe, we’ve been receiving many house calls in that 9 days from my dad’s shoe-shiners colleagues. And because Mooncake festival falls on this very month, we’ve been bombarded daily with boxes and boxes of Mooncake =x= needless to say, I absolutely can’t stand eating Mooncakes…they are somewhat thick and icky to my tastes. So what happens? The gifts have been piling itself in the kitchen, the side tables were brimming with Mooncakes, even my family is bored from eating them…however, I can’t really complain. Why not? Well, the thing is >_> these Mooncakes come in such beautiful packaging…so we, my mom, sis, and myself, had taken the responsibility of looting the boxes for ourselves and depositing the naked Mooncakes into the fridge.
So now, the fridge is packed and the side table is usable again. Imagine Chinese New Year, isn’t that the season for Cantonese oranges? You usually stack them up in the fridge no? Well, a whole box will fill up the fridge in my house. What I’m really trying to say is that, that box of oranges is equivalent to the horrifying amount of Mooncakes we got =x=|| the HORROR indeed!!
My dad actually came back today… -looks at the time- …yesterday evening. And what would you know, I have always wanted to say these at least once.
“My dad went to Europe, and all I got was these lousy shirts!”
And indeed, I got to say them today
Yup, my dad came home bearing gifts…my sis got 2 baby T’s, and a spaghetti strap shirt.
Dad : “Go and try, see if it fits.”
What if it doesn’t…?-After a while…-
Sis : “Yay can wear! Thanks!”
Dad : “Nice, right?! Wear already so sexy
”
Me : “Hahahaha, you know, other people’s parents wouldn’t be saying that.”
Dad : “See, your papa so nice, buy sexy clothes for you all.”
All or for Yen (sis)…?
Needless to say, I got the BIG sized shirts…well, I don’t really mind though, because of my body size, it’s truly hard for my parents to buy clothes for me when I’m not around to try it on. In fact, these clothes? They’re like pajamas to me. Not wanting to reject the clothes my dad bought for me, I accepted them, as usual. -Sigh- NEED TO GO ON EXTREME DIET SOON!!!
Other than those expensive clothes (they all cost more than 55 Euros…no, it’s not cheap, you have to convert them, meaning you have to multiply it by 5…) we all just chatted and laughed. I really missed my dad while he was in Europe, I just might have the Electra complex hahahaha
Did I mention that it’s semester break now? Well it is ^^
One last thing before I go off, I’ve been searching for a part time job…weekends only though so that when semester break is over, I would still be able to work
I need a job really bad
why? Because lately, a few days ago actually, my comp started protesting and making really squeaky sounds as well as it sounded like it was about to have a meltdown and blow up in my face o_o!!! So yeah, “will work for a new computer!!” Anybody know of a weekend job, keep me posted yea? Keep in mind that it has to be in the Selangor region. Thanks!
Well then, that’s just about all that has been going on. And to everyone who were concerned about my own personal meltdowns here, here, here, and here. I’m not sorry for my emotional breakdown, but I AM sorry for worrying all of you. It was just a phase I was and had to go through to be able to be me again, or better yet, a better me. So, gomen nasai, miina-san…(I’m sorry everybody…)
And it’s yet another end of the month, I wish you all happy Mooncake Festival and have a good month next month. Also, the layout has been changed as well to bring in a good chi to this blog and a whole new start of October. A new month, a new series of bloggings, and a new resolution is DOING the right thing! As well as LOOSE weight!!. Night all ^^!!

Hair Mania!
Posted on September 20, 2007

Before
When : Before April 28th 2007
Why that style : Because it tend to cover up the sides of my face, making me look slightly thinner than I really was.
Did you like it : I did, because it looked like how actresses left their hair and I really wanted that kind of hair.
So why you had it cut : Because it became unruly and I didn’t want to tie my hair up anymore.

Then
When : From April 28th to July 19th
Why that style : It wasn’t because that I wanted to cut this style but because the stylist took the matter into her hands and MADE it that style =3=
Did you like it : Not at all. Who wants to have coconut hair for heaven’s sake x3x
So why you had it cut : Because I want to damn it!!

Afterwards
When : From July 19th to September 19th
Why that style : Because the hairstylist said that this style was the IN thing nowadays and I just blindly nodded. Not saying that I regret it though ^3^
Did you like it : Absolutely, because it’s not as puffy as the first and not as coconutty as the second. In fact, I would say that it was…perfect.
So why you had it cut : It obviously grew and became unruly and bushy!

Now
When : From Sept 19th to whenever I feel the need to cut again.
Why that style : The stylist who had my hair cut before this said that THIS was the new IN and AGAIN, I blindly nodded. It’s shorter now, and I look like a pomelo or anything big and round.
Did you like it : It’s okay, but I had hoped that it was like the previous style but this is okay too since it won’t get in my way.
So why you had it cut : I haven’t had it cut YET!! If I did, I’d be bald, damn it!!

Jess VS. Research Methods Exam
Posted on September 15, 2007
Hours spent on studying for this : Approximately less than 24 hours (More like scanned it a few times per day)
Time spent sleeping : Every single night from 2am until 10am
Days of “could have studied” : 2 weeks (Studying is NOT scanning)
Feelings hours before the exam : Typical “what the hell is all this stuff that I’m spose to cram into my head?!”
Feelings half an hour before the exam : Typical “OMG! What IS Research Methods?! Nothing is going into my head T_T have to go Uni early and beg some info about it before the exam >x<!!”
Feelings during the exam : Typical “Erm…what’s independent group design again…? Ooo! Look at the pretty graphs…zzz”
Feelings during the last 10 minutes of the exam : Not-so-typical “I hope they lower the exam curve…” (Talking to other people at the entrance to the University…escaped from the exam hall about 45 minutes earlier…)
Feelings after the exam : Not-so-typical “Hello mommy? Can you fetch me now? Oh yeah, we need to buy more cat food, we’re out of supply. Thanks bye!”
The verdict : Currently digging her own grave with a broken and blunt fork. Resulting in two to nothing for Jess.

Anime Fantasy
Posted on September 14, 2007
Due to recent interest and the need for a new environment, I have decided to make a new blog. But no, not a lone blog, but a blog that has other co-writers too! And due to my latest interest in anime, I decided to just go with it and make a anime blog named “Anime Fantasy“.
It’s a VERY new blog, so there’s not really anything to see for now. But that would not be the case in perhaps a month’s time ^w^ comments are appreciated there to get more constructive criticism on the reviews as well as thoughts as to how you love, like, dislike, hate, about the anime and so and so.
Not only that, because of the messy look if guides and reviews was added together, I decided to add another blog to it which works as a encyclopedia for the reviews we have done. It can be seen through here “Anime Fantasy Encyclopedia“. Other than what I have said, just try to have fun reading all my blogs ^o^
